Job summary

Red Bull Racing invites students to apply for an Industrial Placement in the Structures Department. This role focuses on the structural design, analysis and performance of the Formula One car, with opportunities to work across design offices and learn FEA modelling.

You will develop problem-solving and communication skills, gain exposure to data from R&D lab, and contribute to tools that improve group efficiency.

Qualifications

• Exposure to structural mechanics, material science and mathematical modelling is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Contributing to the structural design, analysis and performance of the car.
• Working with the design office to provide feedback and sign-off for components.
• Learning to prepare, run, and post-process FEA models.
• Developing tools and processes to improve the efficiency of the group.
• Developing testing routines and appraising data from R&D laboratory.
