Job summary

DCS Recruitment in Ipswich is looking for an experienced data cabling engineer to work with a national communications contractor. The role focuses on data cable and device installation in educational environments, with CAT6/6A cabling experience being advantageous.

Must have experience in data cable and device installation within an educational environment e.g. moves, adds, and changes. Experience with CAT6/6A cabling specifically is advantageous.

The ideal candidate will:

• Hold a valid CSCS/ECS – industry related accreditation is preferred e.g. datacoms, network infrastructure, cabling installer
• Have their own PPE and tools including basic hand tools, termination kit, and drill for network infrastructure cabling and hardware moves, adds, and changes

You will be asked to provide relevant work references and proof of right to work in the UK prior to start.
