Job summary

DCS Recruitment is recruiting for experienced data cabling engineers in Oldham (OL1) for a national client. Two vacancies with immediate starts and day shifts, starting at 8am.

The role involves copper cable pulling, terminating CAT6 into panels, and installing outlets and hardware such as wireless access points.

Ideal candidates will hold CSCS/ECS or equivalent cards and have at least 2 years in the data communications industry, plus be able to provide references and proof of right to work.

Qualifications

• CSCS/ECS or equivalent required; data comms card preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of communications industry experience.
• Must provide references and proof of right to work before start.

Responsibilities

• Copper cable pulling installation and termination of CAT6 into panels.
• Install outlets and hardware such as wireless access points.
• Be prepared to start immediately in Oldham on day shifts.

The ideal candidate will:

• Hold a valid CSCS/ECS/Equivalent; structured cabling/data comms industry related card preferred
• Have a minimum of 2 years comms industry experience
• Be able to provide relevant work references and proof of right to work prior to start
• Have their own tools for data cabling, terminations (punch down and keystone), and drill for hardware installation
