Job summary

DCS Recruitment currently seek experienced data cabling engineers in Harlow on behalf of a national client. The role involves copper installation, pulling in cables, terminating and testing, plus hardware installation such as wireless access points.

Ideal candidates will hold a valid CSCS/ECS or equivalent, asbestos awareness, manual handling and working at height certifications, and have a minimum of two years in the communications industry.

Qualifications

• CSCS/ECS or equivalent valid site card preferred.
• Asbestos awareness, manual handling and working at height certification.
• Minimum 2 years in the communications industry.
• Provide work references and proof of right to work prior to start.
• Own tools for data cabling, terminations and hardware installation.

Monday 3rd – Friday 7th August – 8am start (day shifts)

Copper installation (pulling in, terminating, testing) and hardware installation e.g. wireless access points.

The ideal candidate will:

• Hold a valid CSCS/ECS/Equivalent; structured cabling/data comms industry related card preferred


• Hold valid asbestos awareness, manual handling, and working at height certification


• Have a minimum of 2 years comms industry experience


• Be able to provide relevant work references and proof of right to work prior to start


• Have their own tools for data cabling, terminations (punch down and keystone), and drill for hardware installation
