Job summary

DCS Recruitment currently seek a structured cabling engineer in East London for a national communications provider. Immediate start, 4 x 8-hour day shifts across the East London area.

You will hold a valid ECS/CSCS, preferably datacomms specialist, and have your own tools for data cabling and network hardware moves, adds and changes. Proof of right to work in the UK and references will be requested prior to start.

Qualifications

• Experience in structured data cabling, preferably in public sector environments.
• Ability to perform network moves, adds and changes with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrable experience with data cabling tools and test equipment.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain structured data cabling infrastructure.
• Coordinate with teams to move/add/change network hardware as required.
• Ensure compliance with ECS/CSCS standards and safety guidelines.
