Job summary

DCS Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced data cabling engineer for a site in Ashbourne, Derby (DE6 postcode). Immediate starts available on day shifts, with work up to 8 hours per day.

The ideal candidate will have a CSCS/ECS or equivalent card, a minimum of 2 years in the comms/cabling field, and be able to provide references prior to start. IPAF qualification is a bonus for height work.

Qualifications

• CSCS/ECS card or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2 years in the data cabling/comms industry.
• Ability to provide relevant work references before start.

Responsibilities

• Copper installation (pulling in, terminating, testing).
• Hardware installation e.g. wireless access points and fibre runs.
• IF IPAF qualified, some work at height may be required.

Immediate starts available.

Working up to 8 hours on day shifts.

Copper installation (pulling in, terminating, testing), hardware installation e.g. wireless access points, and fibre runs (no splicing).

If IPAF qualified, some cable runs and hardware will be installed at height.

The ideal candidate will:

• Hold a valid CSCS/ECS/Equivalent; structured cabling/data comms industry related card preferred
• Have a minimum of 2 years comms industry experience
• Be able to provide relevant work references prior to start
