Job summary

Jobtailor in Glasgow is seeking a proactive sales professional to deliver engineered structural support solutions, develop revenue through existing and new products, and build strong client relationships across multi-site accounts.

You will collaborate with sales, operations and engineering teams, produce design briefs for bespoke solutions, respond to issues, and help drive growth in the civil engineering and plant hire sectors.

Qualifications

• Sales experience in a multi-site environment.
• Civil Engineering, Construction sector or Plant Hire experience.
• A general understanding of above ground structures.
• Customer facing experience.
• A willingness to learn new skills.
• Driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Understand, promote and deliver engineered structural support solutions to our existing and new client base.
• Develop, produce and implement sales tactics in line with annual sector-based communicated sales plans that will maximize revenue from existing and new products.
• Develop relationships with the existing sales, operations and engineering teams to create even better service levels for our clients.
• Produce quality design briefs for the engineering team for tailored bespoke solutions.
• Develop relationships with new and existing customers to achieve budgeted targets.
• Encourage multi-point engagement of Sales, Engineering and Operations across to the customer.
• Assist the national account team, support the development of national/key accounts through local relationships.
• Respond to customer issues to ensure a quick, appropriate, mutually beneficial resolution.
• Through published construction sales leads and industry insights, be an expert in the area on new schemes and projects being released and already underway.
• Help with the development of new products that will drive future growth in an established market.
