Job summary

Mackenzie Construction is seeking a Site Engineer to support the Structural Refurbishment division on projects across the Midlands & North Wales. The role covers design through to handover, with reporting to the Site Agent/Project Manager and a strong emphasis on H&S, quality and cost control.

Ideal candidates will hold an HNC in Civil Engineering, demonstrate leadership, and be proactive in managing contract lifecycles while communicating effectively with multiple stakeholders on-site.

Responsibilities

• Ensure H&S compliance on site and throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitor progress from design and planning through to construction and handover.
• Coordinate with Site Agent / Project Manager and other stakeholders.
• Manage costs, programme and quality to maximise value and minimise wastage.
• Mentor and lead site staff to achieve performance targets.
