Job summary

Randstad UK is seeking a Site Engineer (Civil/Structural) for a flagship decommissioning project in North Wales. On-site, 12‑month contract with immediate start, you will oversee civil and structural packages and drive technical delivery on a highly regulated asset.

We look for HNC/HND or BEng, CSCS, and ideally SMSTS/SSSTS, plus experience with Leica/Trimble total stations and GPS, and strong QA/RAMS discipline alongside subcontractor coordination.

Qualifications

• Proven track record as Site Engineer in civil or structural environments.
• Experience with total stations and GPS for setting out.
• Valid CSCS card and relevant safety training.
• Experience in regulated industrial or energy sectors is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set out and conduct dimensional control across civil/structural packages.
• Ensure QA and compliance with drawings, ITPs and RAMS.
• Supervise on-site subcontractors and monitor progress.
• Review drawings, raise RFIs and liaise with senior teams to resolve buildability issues.
• Maintain safety standards and daily site diaries.
