Job summary

Mackenzie Construction Limited is recruiting Structural Repair Operatives to support structural refurbishment projects across the Midlands and North Wales. You will join a specialist repair team delivering concrete repair, protective coatings and related refurbishment works to infrastructure and water assets, following project specs and safety standards.

You will work under Site Supervisors/Managers, require CSCS card, driving licence if needed, and a proactive, safety-focused approach.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in construction, structural repair or refurbishment.
• CSCS Operatives Card or equivalent.
• Full clean driving licence, if required.
• Ability to follow Risk Assessments, Method Statements and instructions.
• Willingness to work across different sites and locations.

Responsibilities

• Understand and follow risk assessments, method statements and COSHH.
• Carry out structural repair and refurbishment works per specs.
• Prepare concrete and reinforcement for repair.
• Carry out crack, joint, resin, waterproofing and coating works.
• Ensure work quality and promptly report defects.
• Use tools and PPE correctly and maintain them.
• Follow site supervisor instructions and work as part of team.
• Maintain good housekeeping and a safe workplace.
• Maintain reliability in timekeeping and attendance.
• Engage with company values and training.
• Undertake additional training to develop skills.
