Search Consultancy is seeking an experienced Concrete Repairer to join a civil engineering project in Galashiels (TD1). You will perform surface preparation, mortar application, and protective renders to maintain structural integrity.

The role requires a CSCS Card, proven repair experience on civil/building sites, and reliable, high-quality finishes. UK Right to Work is essential, with on-site work and full PPE provided. Flexible start dates available and weekly pay options through the agency.

Qualifications

• CSCS Card required (Skilled Worker / Concrete Operative).
• Proven track record in structural concrete repair and surface preparation on civil/building projects.
• Experience with mortar application and hand-applied renders.
• Full 5-point PPE and basic hand tools.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Surface preparation: break out damaged concrete to sound substrate.
• Steel priming and treatment: clean rebar and apply anti-corrosion coatings.
• Structural repair application: hand-apply repair mortars and renders to profile lines.
• Curing and coatings: apply curing compounds and protective coatings.
• Site safety: follow RAMS and dust suppression protocols.
