Job summary

Amentum is seeking a motivated Structural Integrity Team Leader in the UK to line-manage 6–8 engineers, deliver complex client projects, and expand services across generations, nuclear, and defence sectors. The role combines technical oversight with people leadership in a market-driven environment.

You will shape strategy, win work, and nurture client relationships while developing your team’s capabilities within a hybrid working model across Warrington, Knutsford and Manchester offices.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent training in engineering or physical sciences.
• Strong communication and prioritization skills.
• Experience leading technical teams in nuclear/energy sectors.
• Proven track record in delivering complex projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a 6–8 person team of engineers by providing direction and coaching.
• Manage project delivery with resource planning and risk management.
• Build relationships with clients and identify growth opportunities.
• Lead bids and proposals and contribute to long-term strategy.
