Job summary

Amentum is seeking an Architect Engineer - Engineering Manager to join our Engineering & Technical Services team in the UK. The role focuses on coordinating multi-disciplinary engineering teams to deliver complex solutions for a nuclear fleet, supporting small modular reactor developers, and guiding projects from FEED to delivery.

You’ll work with Operations Managers and Framework Directors, manage stakeholder interfaces, and promote safety and quality as core values.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified or equivalent (HNC/HND with significant experience) in engineering discipline with extensive design experience.
• Chartered Engineer, Fellow or similar demonstrable experience

Responsibilities

• Coordinate multi-discipline engineering teams to deliver complex solutions on time, to cost and to quality.
• Lead projects from FEED to solution delivery within an investment delivery process.
• Act as Architect Engineer, owning technical challenges and stakeholder interfaces to implement solutions.
• Develop and deliver clear engineering strategies for projects across lifecycle.
• Manage significant numbers of varied stakeholders and ensure safety case alignment with design development.
• Support project managers with resourcing, costs, schedules and change control.
