We are seeking talented and motivated Structural Engineers to join our award-winning team.

We are currently seeking to encourage applications from enthusiastic Structural Engineers.

Doran Consulting offers its Structural Engineers the opportunity to work on a wide range of BIM civil and structural engineering projects from key, landmark local developments to prestigious and innovative schemes across Great Britain, Ireland and further afield, for both private clients and public bodies.

Engineers joining our Structural Department will be involved in the design of structures in reinforced steel, concrete, structural steels, structural timber and masonry on a range of landmark developments.

Responsibilities and Role

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design of structures in reinforced concrete, structural steel, timber and masonry.
• Conceptual design, involving choice of appropriate materials and method of analysis.
• Supervision and management of a team of engineers and technicians in detailed design, to set time budgets.
• Preparation of project specifications, involving use of both standard specifications prepared by external agencies and in-house specifications.
• Attendance at design team meetings, site meetings and client consultations.
• Preparation of piling and steelwork sub-contracts.
• Monitoring construction.
• Inspection and reporting on structural defects in buildings.

Required Experience
