pxFairport is recruiting a Structural Manager for its Adlington office to lead the Structural discipline, set technical direction, govern deliverables, and ensure safety, codes, quality and cost efficiency. You’ll shape design processes and drive consistency across the team, with strong integration to other engineering functions.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil or Structural engineering (min. BEng).
• Chartered status with ICE or IStructE preferred.
• Senior/principal level experience in structural engineering.
• Expertise in bulk material handling structures and conveyors.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership to Engineers and Designers.
• Ensure outputs meet standards, codes, and regulatory requirements.
• Drive value engineering, standardisation, and risk reduction.
• Support project and bid teams with engineering data and designs.
• Oversee design reviews, site surveys, and NCR actions.
• Develop and improve structural design processes and checks.
• Verify subcontractor outputs align with project scope.
