PX Group's Adlington office is recruiting a Structural Manager to lead the Structural discipline, set technical direction, and ensure safety, quality and cost‑effective deliverables across projects. You will provide technical leadership to engineers and designers, drive design processes, support governance and continuous improvement, and mentor junior staff through reviews and development plans.

The role is based on site at Adlington with opportunities to influence multiple major projects within

Qualificações

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (min BEng).
• Chartered Engineer status (ICE or IStructE preferred).
• Experience in structural engineering at senior/principal level.

Responsabilidades

• Provide technical leadership to Engineers and Designers.
• Ensure outputs meet project specs, standards, codes and regulatory requirements.
• Promote value engineering, standardisation, risk reduction and right-first-time delivery.
• Support Project and Bid teams with information and guidance (steel weights, configurations, engineering time).
• Identify variations to contractual scope and escalate to Project team.
• Attend project model / design reviews.
• Support CAT 2 / CAT 3 checking with supplementary information as required.
• Undertake site surveys and prepare reports to support delivery.
• Rectify and implement long-term preventive measures from NCRs.
• Participate in lessons learned and continuous improvement meetings.
• Lead development of processes to improve efficiency and delivery.
• Identify suitable sub-contractor supply chain and assess competence.
• Verify sub-contractor output against scope.
• Review ISO 9001 procedures and templates for discipline.
