Job summary

Cornerstone Project Source is seeking a permanent Structural Engineer to design and analyse steelwork and connections in Kent. The role starts ASAP and offers a salary of £70,000 per annum, with standard 8am-5pm hours Monday to Friday.

You will design and analyse steel structures, ensure compliance with British Standards, prepare technical reports, and collaborate with Architects and other engineers as part of the design team.

Qualifications

• Experience in steelwork and metalwork.

Responsibilities

• Designing and analysing structural steel designs, including connections and section size requirements.
• Designing balconies including balustrade and drainage.
• Ensuring compliance with British Standards and other regulatory standards.
• Preparing and presenting technical reports.
• Collaborating with Architects, Consultant Engineers and coordinating with the design team.
