Job summary

Cornerstone Project Source Ltd. is seeking a Senior Project Manager in London to oversee structural steel installation projects from planning through to completion. You will manage timelines, budgets, safety, subcontractors, and client communications, with opportunities for progression.

Start date February 2027. Salary £85,000 per annum. This is a permanent, full-time position based in London.

Qualifications

• London project experience is essential.
• 5+ years as a Project Manager in structural steel or heavy construction.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Strong track record of delivering high-quality projects.
• In-depth knowledge of steel construction methods and site operations.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate the project team across all steel installation activities.
• Manage project timelines and ensure milestones are met on programme.
• Lead lookahead planning cascaded to project and site teams.
• Visual planning using 3D models and 2D drawing mark-ups.
• Coordinate with clients, engineers and site personnel for alignment.
• Oversee contracts, schedules, work packages, RFIs and change orders.
• Monitor costs and budgets; provide financial forecasts.
• Lead site meetings and report progress to stakeholders.
• Ensure health, safety and environmental compliance on sites.
