Job summary

Bennett & Game Recruitment Ltd. is seeking a Graduate Structural Engineer in Manchester with 2+ years of post-graduate experience to join the team. Hybrid working options available as the role supports a wide range of residential, commercial and industrial projects.

You will perform structural design calculations, prepare drawings, undertake surveys, and advise clients while progressing toward chartership with IStructE or ICE. Salary up to £36,000 with benefits and mentoring.

Qualifications

• Degree in Structural/Civil Engineering, accredited by IstructE or ICE (1st or 2:1 preferred).
• 2 years' experience working as a Graduate Engineer in a multi-disciplinary consultancy.
• Experience in consulting engineering, surveying, architectural & planning.
• Experience in working to deadlines and within budgets.
• UK Driving Licence + Car.

Responsibilities

• Structural Reports.
• Structural design calculations and preparation of drawings.
• Flood damage surveys.
• Provide technical advice to clients.
• Producing CAD drawings.
• Involved in obtaining planning and/or building regulations approval.
• Site inspections and client visits.
• Monitoring and inspecting work undertaken by contractors.
• Administering contracts and managing projects.
• Assess the sustainability and environmental impact of each project.
