Job summary
Bennett and Game Recruitment LTD in Rutland is seeking a Graduate Structural Engineer with 2+ years post graduate experience to support local and national engineering teams on a range of projects including structural surveys, calculations, and drawings for residential, commercial, and industrial properties. Hybrid working options are available.
The role requires a degree in Structural/Civil Engineering (IStructE/ICE accredited preferred) and UK driving licence.
Qualifications
- 2 years+ post graduate experience in a multi-disciplinary consultancy environment.
- Knowledge of construction methods, materials and building regulations.
- Ambition and drive for the sector.
Responsibilities
- Structural reports
- Structural design calculations and preparation of drawings
- Flood damage surveys
- Provide technical advice to clients
- Producing CAD drawings
- Involved in obtaining planning and/or building regulations approval
- Site inspections and client visits
- Monitoring and inspecting work undertaken by contractors
- Administering contracts and managing projects
- Assess the sustainability and environmental impact of each project
