Job summary

ARV Solutions Contracts is seeking a Structural Engineer to join our client in the South West on a hybrid basis. The role focuses on steel connection design and temporary stability analysis for building projects, ideal for engineers with fabrication or subcontractor experience.

You will design steel connections, perform erection-stage analyses, and collaborate with drafting teams and project stakeholders while contributing to design reviews and continuous improvement initiatives toward Chartered

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Minimum three years' experience in structural steel or connection design.
• Direct experience designing steel connections.
• Experience with steel fabricators, steelwork contractors or similar businesses.
• Knowledge of temporary stability and erection-stage considerations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

An established engineering business operating within the structural steel sector is seeking a Structural Engineer to support increasing project demand. This role focuses on steel connection design and temporary stability analysis for building projects and would suit an engineer with experience working on the fabrication or subcontractor side of the industry.

As a Structural Engineer you will:

• Design steel connections including plates, bolts and welds for structural steel projects
• Carry out temporary condition and erection-stage analysis of steel frames
