Job summary

Insignis Talent is seeking a Structural Engineer to join a Buildings & Places team, working across a wide range of building structures projects. The role provides development towards Chartered status with exposure to design, delivery and multidisciplinary project work.

You will design and deliver building structures from concept to detailed design, collaborating with a multidisciplinary environment and gaining experience in technical design and project delivery.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering as a minimum.
• Graduate membership of IStructE or ICE preferred.
• Experience designing steel, concrete, timber and masonry structures to Eurocodes.
• Exposure to building structures projects and multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills; proactive learning towards Chartered status.
• Knowledge of Robot and Revit is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Structural design and analysis across building projects.
• Supporting projects through design development stages.
• Producing calculations, reports and technical design solutions.
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary design teams.
• Attending site visits and design coordination meetings.
• Working with BIM standards and project quality procedures.

I’m currently recruiting for a Structural Engineer to join a Buildings & Places team working across a wide range of building structures projects.

This is a strong opportunity for a developing structural engineer who is working towards Chartered status and wants to broaden their experience across design, delivery and multidisciplinary project work.

The Role

You will be involved in the design and delivery of building structures projects from concept through to detailed design. The role sits within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment and offers exposure to both technical design and project delivery.

Key responsibilities include:
