Skilled Careers is partnering with a growing engineering consultancy to recruit a Structural Engineer for diverse building structures projects across the UK.

The ideal candidate will have 2–5 years’ UK consultancy experience, a Civil or Structural Engineering degree, and familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, Tekla or similar tools. You will work toward Chartered status while contributing across residential, commercial, retail, logistics and technology sectors.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years’ experience in a UK structural engineering consultancy.
• Degree qualified in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Experience working on building structures projects.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, Tekla or similar design tools.
• Working towards Chartered Engineer status (IStructE or ICE).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Design structural solutions for a range of building projects.
• Carry out structural analysis and design calculations.
• Produce drawings and technical documentation using design software.
• Work with AutoCAD, Revit, Tekla and Mathcad.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors and multidisciplinary teams.
• Attend site visits and inspections to review construction progress.

I’m currently working with a growing engineering consultancy that is looking to hire a Structural Engineer to join their team working on a variety of building structures projects across the UK.

This is a great opportunity for someone with 2–5 years’ experience within a UK structural consultancy who wants to take the next step in their career and gain exposure to a broad range of projects across sectors including residential, commercial, retail, logistics and technology.

You’ll be joining a collaborative and supportive engineering team where you’ll have the chance to develop technically, take on increasing responsibility, and work towards Chartered status.

The Role

As a Structural Engineer, you will support the design and delivery of building structures from concept through to construction.

• Designing structural solutions for a range of building projects
• Carrying out structural analysis and design calculations
• Producing drawings and technical documentation using design software
• Working with tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, Tekla and Mathcad
• Coordinating with architects, contractors and multidisciplinary teams
• Attending site visits and inspections to review construction progress
• Supporting the delivery of projects through all stages of design and construction

About You

• 2–5 years’ experience working in a UK structural engineering consultancy
