Job summary

Strata Construction Consulting UK Ltd seeks a Structural Engineer in central London near Euston with 4–5 years of UK consultancy experience. You will contribute to projects from concept through to completion and work with a collaborative team on diverse sectors.

The role offers chartership support, mentoring, and a structured development programme in a forward-thinking, ambitious consultancy. You will be encouraged to grow and take ownership.

Qualifications

• Approximately four to five years' structural design experience within a UK engineering consultancy.
• Experience designing structures in steel, reinforced concrete, timber and masonry.
• Proficient with Tekla Structural Designer, Tedds, Robot or similar.
• Knowledge of relevant British Standards and Eurocodes.
• Excellent communication and ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.
• Proactive attitude with problem-solving abilities and ownership of projects.
• Chartered Engineer status with IStructE/ICE is desirable.
• BEng or MEng in Civil or Structural Engineering.

I'm currently working with a highly regarded independent structural engineering consultancy that is looking to appoint a Structural Engineer to join its growing team in central London, near Euston. What You Need To Succeed

• Approximately four to five years' structural design experience within a UK engineering consultancy.
• Experience designing structures in a range of materials, including steel, reinforced concrete, timber and masonry.
• Competent using industry-standard structural design software (such as Tekla Structural Designer, Tedds, Robot or similar).
• Working knowledge of relevant British Standards and Eurocodes.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• A proactive attitude with strong problem-solving abilities and a desire to take ownership of projects.
• Chartered Engineer status with the IStructE/ICE, or close to achieving it, is desirable.
• A strong academic background with a BEng or MEng in Civil or Structural Engineering.
