Job summary

Strata Consulting in Bath is seeking a Structural Engineer with 5-8 years of UK design experience to join a client-focused, design-led team. You will work across a diverse portfolio, from logistics hubs to bespoke projects, engaging in concept design, analysis, site coordination and client liaison.

You’ll be supported toward IStructE or ICE chartership by a senior, knowledgeable team, in a flexible office environment with modern facilities in Bath.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of structural design experience in the UK.
• Proficiency in Tekla Structural Designer, TEDDS, and AutoCAD/Revit.
• Experience designing in concrete, steel, timber, and masonry.
• Ability to liaise directly with clients and architects.
• Strong technical communication and report-writing skills.
• Working towards Chartership with either IStructE or ICE.
• MEng or BEng in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Hands-on involvement in all stages of project delivery, including concept design, detailed analysis, site coordination and client liaison.
• Manage project elements independently and liaise with clients and architects.
• Contribute to innovative design solutions and collaborate with the team to grow the practice.
