Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking a Structural or Civil Engineer to join our Manchester team. The role involves inspecting buildings, preparing calculations and reports, and developing engineering solutions across residential and commercial projects.

You will work both on site and in the office, collaborating with experienced professionals and clients. A degree in Civil/Structural Engineering is required, with UK driving licence and willingness to travel to sites.

Qualifications

Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or closely related discipline.
Member of a relevant professional body such as ICE or IStructE would be advantageous.
Chartered or working towards Chartered Engineer status desirable.

Responsibilities

Carrying out structural inspections and site surveys.
Preparing structural calculations, specifications and technical reports.
Assessing building defects and recommending remedial solutions.
Producing and reviewing structural designs.
Supporting projects from investigation through to completion.
Liaising with clients, contractors, architects and other consultants.
Ensuring work complies with UK Building Regulations, British Standards and Eurocodes.
