Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking an experienced Structural Engineer in Colchester to join a busy consultancy. You will design across residential, commercial, industrial and infrastructure sectors, delivering from concept to construction and coordinating with clients and architects.

Proficiency in AutoCAD and experience with Tekla Tedds or CADS are valued. You will work within a team to review calculations, develop detailed drawings, and ensure compliance with UK Building Regulations and standards.

Qualifications

Degree in Structural Engineering or equivalent qualification.
Sound knowledge of structural engineering principles and design.
Experience with steel, reinforced concrete and timber structures.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and structural design software.

Responsibilities

Undertaking structural design across residential, commercial, industrial and infrastructure projects.
Designing and developing structural solutions from concept through to construction.
Producing and reviewing structural drawings and calculations.
Coordination with clients, architects and contractors on structural requirements.
Ensuring designs comply with UK codes and Building Regulations.
