The company works predominantly within the residential sector, delivering structural refurbishment, alteration and bespoke new-build projects. They can consider engineers with a couple of years' experience through to recently Chartered candidates.
As a Civil Engineer / Structural Engineer, you will work alongside Senior Engineers, Design Engineers and Technicians, taking responsibility for the structural design of your projects.

There will be plenty of contact with architects and clients, so you will need to be confident discussing your designs and explaining the reasoning behind your solutions.
More experienced Civil Engineer / Structural Engineer candidates will have the opportunity to take greater responsibility for projects, develop client relationships and become involved in winning new work.
We are looking for a Civil Engineer / Structural Engineer with:
You don't need to be Chartered, and the position can equally suit a Civil Engineer / Structural Engineer working towards professional accreditation.
The company uses AutoCAD, Tekla and Autodesk Robot. Experience with these would be useful but isn't essential, providing you have experience with structural design software and can learn new systems.
The Civil Engineer / Structural Engineer will also benefit from a clear progression structure, regular development reviews and opportunities to take responsibility for larger and more complex projects as their experience develops.

The role is primarily office-based with site visits and some flexibility to work from home.
Candidates should ideally live within approximately one hour's commute of London.
