Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join its Newcastle team, taking a leadership role on diverse UK projects and delivering technical excellence.

You will manage multiple projects from concept to completion, mentor junior engineers, and be client-facing, producing calculations, reports, specifications and drawings to high standards. Hybrid working and flexible hours offered.

Qualifications

• Chartered or near-Chartered engineer is required.
• Strong experience in structural design across steel, concrete, masonry, and timber is essential.
• Proficiency with Tekla Structural Designer, Robot and Tedds is desirable.
• Sponsorship is not offered; candidates must have UK work eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple projects from concept through to completion, mentoring junior engineers.
• Lead and advise clients, acting as a trusted advisor on delivery and design.
• Produce and review calculations, reports, specifications and drawings to high technical standards.
• Play a visible role within the wider engineering community and develop client relationships.
