Qualifications

Job Description:

Our client based near Oakham is seeking an experienced Structural CAD Technician to join them on a full-time permanent basis, working Monday to Friday till 5.30 pm each day.

As a Structural CAD Technician, you will be responsible for providing modelling and detailing for projects across industrial, commercial, and residential builds, carrying out concrete and steel layout drawings. You will work closely with engineers to produce accurate CAD drawings, attend design meetings, and perform all related supporting duties.

To be considered for the position of Structural CAD Technician, it is essential that you have experience in Structural CAD design. You should hold ONC / HNC / OND / HND in civil or structural engineering, have at least two years of relevant experience, and be experienced in working with masonry, steel, timber, and concrete. A full UK driving license and access to your own transport are required, and you must hold Indefinite Leave to Remain in the UK, as sponsorship will not be offered. Experience using Revit would be an advantage.

In return, our client offers a salary of up to £35,000 depending on experience, 23 days holiday plus statutory holidays (with a Christmas shutdown), pension, parking permit, private health insurance, and opportunities for career growth and development.
