A leading Civil and Structural Engineering Consultancy is seeking an experienced Structural CAD Technician for their Solihull office. In this role, you will be responsible for producing accurate structural drawings and integrating with a friendly team focused on residential projects. Ideal candidates will have proven consultancy experience and an HNC/HND in a relevant field.

Are you a Structural CAD Technician, seeking a new opportunity at present?If so, then the perfect opportunity has arisen with my Client, a very successfulCivil and Structural Engineering Consultancy based South of Birmingham in Warwickshire.

This role is the perfect opportunity for an experienced Structural Technician who has proven, consultancy based, structural experienceand the capabilities to produce accurate structural engineering drawings.You will be joining a lovely, sociable and welcoming team of Engineering Professionals who focus on the delivery of civil and structural engineering schemes for Clients within the residential sector.

Skills:

• Fully competent in the use of AutoCAD
• Able toproduce accurate structural drawings and details
• Able to produce GA's, reinforcement details and detailed drawings
• Experienced in all common build materials: steel, concrete, timber, masonry

Qualifications / Experience

• Ideally possess an HNC / HND in a relevant qualification (CAD, Civil Engineering, Architectural etc.)
• Have proven experience in the field of structural engineering for the property and construction sector
• Residential based project experience would be of great benefit
• Possess good communication skills
• Possess good presentation skills, taking pride in the delivery of your work on a professional level
• Integrate well within a team
