Job summary

Arup in Southampton is seeking a Structural BIM Designer to produce robust BIM models and drawings for a range of challenging projects. You’ll be the focal point for collaborative BIM delivery, attending coordination workshops and coordinating with project stakeholders to develop the design.

You’ll also mentor apprentices as the team grows and provide technical support to the wider Building Engineering Team, contributing to best practices and project standards across international projects.

Qualifications

• HNC/HND in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Civil Engineering Apprenticeship completed within last 4–5 years.
• EngTech equivalent membership desirable.

Responsibilities

• Producing and maintaining BIM models and drawings.
• Acting as focal point for collaborative BIM delivery and coordination.
• Attending coordination workshops with project stakeholders across regions/locations.
• Mentoring apprentices and supporting project resource management and quality.
