Job summary

Arup is seeking a BIM Designer to support delivery of complex projects in London on a 6-month hybrid contract. You will develop, coordinate and manage BIM models across building services, working with multidisciplinary teams to produce high-quality drawings from Revit models.

You'll need strong Revit MEP modelling, model management and clash coordination skills, with the ability to work independently to meet programme deadlines and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Strong background as a BIM Modeller in building services.
• Proficient in Revit MEP modelling and BIM workflows.
• Experience managing and maintaining project BIM models.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain project BIM models in accordance with project and company standards.
• Collaborate with Project Managers and discipline engineers to define and implement project deliverables within the BIM environment.
• Produce coordinated MEP models using Revit across a range of building services disciplines.
• Develop and coordinate mechanical, electrical and public health services including coordination across disciplines.
• Support project teams through technical BIM delivery and model development.
• Participate in model and design reviews, identifying clashes and coordination issues.
• Produce high-quality drawings, layouts and design documentation directly from Revit models.
• Coordinate services with other disciplines using Revit and Navisworks.
• Utilise Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) and Forma collaboration platforms to support project delivery.
• Ensure BIM outputs are delivered to programme deadlines while maintaining quality standards.

Candidate Profile: Key accountabilities, skills & experience

Purpose of the role:

The successful candidate will support the delivery of complex, high-profile projects including data centres and laboratory facilities, working closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams to develop, coordinate and manage BIM models throughout the project lifecycle.

This role requires a strong background in Revit MEP modelling, model management and building services coordination, with the ability to work independently to produce high-quality drawings and models.

The skills you'll need:

• Proven experience as an MEP BIM Modeller within the building services industry.
• Strong knowledge of Revit MEP and BIM workflows.
• Experience managing and maintaining project models.
• Experience using Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) and/or Autodesk Forma.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical and public health systems.
• Ability to develop models and drawings independently with minimal engineering input.
• Strong coordination and multidisciplinary working experience.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively to tight deadlines.
