Job summary

Ceto Talent is seeking a Streetworks Planner for a 12-month fixed-term contract. The role focuses on planning and scheduling street works, coordinating resources and ensuring safe, on-time delivery while collaborating with internal teams and clients.

The successful candidate will manage permits, notices and planning processes, monitor progress and respond to scheduling issues with a proactive approach. Initial three months are in Apsley before moving to Falmer.

Qualifications

• Experience in planning, scheduling or coordination roles.
• Strong understanding of planning processes and service level agreements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule works in line with contractual requirements and SLAs.
• Allocate work to operational and field teams.
• Monitor progress and manage workloads and backlogs.
• Ensure permits, notices and street works requirements are obtained and maintained.
• Provide accurate information to field teams.
• Respond to client requests and resolve scheduling issues.
• Liaise with supervisors, clients and customers.
• Keep planning systems updated and identify issues early.
• Support safe, efficient delivery of works.
