Job summary

Enerveo is seeking a Highways Lighting Operative to join our Dorset team. Your mix of planned maintenance and reactive fault response will keep street lighting, signs and subways in safe, reliable condition across a wide area.

Based at the Dorset depot (Piddlehinton), you will work 37 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 7:30am-3:30pm and Friday 7:30am-3:00pm, with an on-call rota and payments for standby and callouts.

Qualifications

• Practical, hands-on approach to outdoor utility work.
• Commitment to safety and following procedures.
• Willingness to learn and develop streetlighting knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Maintain street lighting, signs and subways.
• Diagnose faults and perform repairs with efficiency.
• Operate MEWPs safely where required.
• Work to health, safety and environmental standards.
• Collaborate with teams to deliver works with minimal disruption.
