Job summary

Enerveo is recruiting a Highways Lighting Operative to maintain street lighting across Hampshire and Southampton, based from Fareham. You will perform lamp changes, inspections, and electrical testing, including fault diagnosis and repairs, while working outdoors in all weather and at height using a MEWP.

The role requires an electrical background with NVQ Level 2, a full UK driving licence, and willingness to join the on-call standby rota.

Qualifications

• Electrical background with NVQ Level 2 required.
• Happy to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Experience working at height and comfortable using MEWP.

Responsibilities

• Maintain street lighting infrastructure and associated assets.
• Carry out electrical connections to new infrastructure.
• Diagnose faults and carry out repairs to lighting assets.
• Operate a MEWP and ensure safety compliance.
• Take part in emergency standby rota (out of hours).
• Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations.
