Job summary

Smart DCC is seeking a Strategy Manager to shape strategic priorities across the organisation, combining market intelligence and rigorous analysis to inform senior decision-making. The role sits in a hybrid model with Manchester or London, and forms part of a 14-month FTC.

You will work with senior stakeholders to deliver clear insights and recommendations that drive the future of the business. The ideal candidate will bring strong strategic and analytical capabilities, excellent communication

Qualifications

Experience applying strategic and business analysis frameworks in a regulated environment.
Strong understanding of the UK energy sector and energy transition.
Clear, compelling reports and briefings for senior audiences.
Proven ability to build cross-functional relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
Ability to organise multiple activities while delivering high-quality work.

Responsibilities

Lead delivery of strategic materials communicating medium-term priorities and support stakeholder engagement.
Enhance market intelligence through analysis informing recommendations and decisions.
Produce high-quality strategic insights and regular reporting to support priorities.
Engage with stakeholders to understand priorities and communicate strategy effectively.
Support Strategy leaders with initiatives, briefing materials, and development of functional strategies.
