Job summary

BCUHB North Wales invites applications for a Senior Workforce Planning Officer in the People Services Team on a fixed term/secondment basis until 28 February 2027. Qualifications

• Educated to Degree level or possess equivalent experience in workforce planning.
• Project management specialist knowledge acquired through postgraduate diploma level or relevant demonstrable equivalent experience.
• Understanding of programme/project management processes.
• Demonstration of Continued Professional Development (CPD).
• Knowledge of NHS/BCU organisation policies, processes and culture.
• Willingness to undertake training as appropriate to the role.

Responsibilities

• Support workforce planning and education commissioning projects across BCUHB, working with services to develop workforce plans and analyse data.
• Deliver workforce planning reports and dashboards to support service planning and decision making.
• Promote multi-disciplinary, cross-organisational workforce plans and skill-mix changes to foster innovation.
• Deliver data quality improvement, analytics and dashboard reporting to inform service improvement.
• Lead training sessions and workforce planning engagement activities across the organisation.
• Participate actively in workforce planning meetings and related events.
