Job summary

Bridgend County Borough Council is seeking a motivated Workforce Officer to join the Human Resources and Organisational Development team. The role focuses on recruitment, retention, planning and wellbeing to support sustainable services for communities across the Council.

With 37 hours per week on a full-time basis, the post requires the ability to greet customers in Welsh and to work within the Council's Hybrid Working Policy, balancing home and office duties as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a range of workforce projects focused on recruitment and retention, workforce planning, career pathways, workforce wellbeing and organisational sustainability.
• Collaborate with senior managers and stakeholders across the organisation to deliver key workforce priorities.
• Support delivery of workforce development, project delivery and positive organisational change.
