Job summary

Wrightington, Wigan and Leigh Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced Workforce Information & Analytics Lead to shape and develop our analytics service. This role focuses on turning data from sources into meaningful insights, guiding workforce decisions, and driving forecasting, modelling and establishment analysis.

The post requires expertise in workforce information, analytics and planning, with hands-on experience in data transformation tools and BI platforms.

Qualifications

Significant experience in Workforce Information, Workforce Analytics or Workforce Planning within a medium/large organisation.
Experience using ESR or similar HR information systems to extract, validate and analyse data.
Ability to translate data into insights, trends and actionable recommendations.

Responsibilities

Lead the Workforce Information & Analytics service, including reporting, planning, forecasting and modelling.
Develop establishment analysis and data quality processes; build self-service reporting.
Collaborate with HR, Finance and operational teams to provide robust analytical advice.
Line manage the Workforce Information Officer and contribute to service development.
