Job summary

UK Power Networks is seeking a Work Planner in Chatham, Kent. You will own workforce planning and scheduling, optimise resources across maintenance, inspection, project and reactive works, and help deliver targets with SAP work orders.

The role requires strong organisational and communication skills, with City & Guilds 2339 in Electrical Theory (or equivalent) and ONC/HNC; IOSH certification is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Electrical & Electronic Theory qualification required or equivalent.
• ONC/HNC qualification is desirable.
• IOSH certification is desirable for the role.
• LV/HV authorisation is advantageous if you have it.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of workforce planning and scheduling to maximise resource utilisation.
• Manage SAP work orders and develop efficient work packages.
• Coordinate project delivery and monitor performance against targets.
• Ensure compliance with street works legislation and standards.
• Support continuous improvement and maintain project registers across the business.
