Job summary

CV Technical Limited in Northfleet, Kent, seeks an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer transitioning into a Maintenance Planner role. The role focuses on planning, scheduling and asset reliability in a mature industrial setting.

The ideal candidate will have extensive electrical maintenance experience, strong planning skills and familiarity with CMMS/EAMS to optimise maintenance activities while ensuring safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years' electrical maintenance experience.
• Experience planning maintenance activities within an industrial, heavy manufacturing or processing environment.
• Knowledge of LV/HV distribution systems, electrical drives, instrumentation and PLC equipment.
• Experience using CMMS or EAMS maintenance management systems.
• Ability to interpret electrical drawings, technical manuals and engineering documentation.
• Understanding of IET Wiring Regulations, or willingness to learn.
• Strong organisational skills and a commitment to health and safety.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule preventative and reactive maintenance activities in line with the Maintenance Management Plan.
• Develop safe systems of work and ensure materials, components and resources are available.
• Coordinate maintenance schedules with engineering, maintenance and production teams.
• Maintain accurate work orders and asset information using CMMS or EAMS software.
• Review maintenance activities to identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve equipment reliability.
• Liaise with suppliers and contractors, coordinating maintenance work and service activities.
• Maintain high standards of health, safety and regulatory compliance.
