Job summary

Jobtailor in the United Kingdom seeks a senior leader to head the UK Investment & Analytics function, driving portfolio valuation, pricing, acquisition strategy, underwriting, and performance optimisation.

You will lead advanced analytics, forecasting, financial modelling, and governance, while shaping capital deployment and engaging Executive Leadership and Investment Committees on opportunities, risks, and market trends.

Qualifications

• Senior leadership experience across investment, credit management, financial services, banking, debt purchasing, or asset-backed investment environments.
• Proven success leading portfolio valuation, pricing, due diligence, and investment decision making using sophisticated financial and analytical models.
• Deep expertise in analytics, including AI, forecasting, data science, performance insight, and using data to drive commercial outcomes.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to influence executive stakeholders, investment committees, and board-level decision making.
• Experience operating within regulated environments, with a strong understanding of governance, risk management, and FCA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead the UK Investment & Analytics function and set strategy.
• Oversee portfolio valuation, pricing, acquisition strategy, underwriting, and performance optimisation.
• Drive investment performance and profitability through data-led decision making and analytics insights.
• Identify and evaluate portfolio acquisition opportunities and lead due diligence.
• Provide strategic recommendations to Executive Leadership and Investment Committees on opportunities, risks, and market trends.
• Lead advanced analytics, forecasting, financial modelling, and performance reporting.
• Ensure governance, risk management, regulatory compliance, and disciplined capital deployment.
• Develop and inspire high-performing investment and analytics teams.
