Job summary

Enhance Academy Trust is seeking a Trust Business Manager to support strategic development and financial planning for up to seven schools. You will work with Headteachers and senior leaders to ensure efficient budgeting, reporting and decision making across the trust.

The role covers HR, payroll, governance, GDPR and premises health & safety, with a focus on value for money and sustainable funding. Leeds-based, full time.

Qualifications

• Experience managing finance for multiple schools or a group of academies.
• Understanding of ESFA Academies Handbook and trust policies.
• Ability to develop and monitor budgets, forecasts and cashflow.

Responsibilities

• Oversee financial management for up to seven schools within the trust.
• Monitor accounts, prepare monthly management accounts and long-term financial plans.
• Lead HR, payroll, governance, GDPR and health & safety compliance across the group.
• Support income generation and procurement to maximise value for money.
