Job summary

Enhance Academy Trust, Wakefield, is seeking a Finance & HR Manager to oversee financial, HR and governance functions across up to seven schools within the Trust. This permanent role requires strong leadership and collaboration with Central Team staff to drive value for money and strategic planning.

You will prepare monthly management accounts, manage budgets, lead payroll, and ensure safeguarding and GDPR compliance across the group. A proactive approach to funding and risk will be essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage a group of up to seven schools alongside Central Team staff.
• Oversee financial management including monitoring accounting procedures and budgets.
• Prepare monthly management accounts and a three-year financial plan.
• Lead HR and payroll processes including recruitment, attendance, and safeguarding records.
• Ensure compliance with safeguarding, health & safety, and GDPR policies.
• Liaise with funding agencies to secure additional funding.
• Attend Trust and LAB meetings and report outcomes.
