Job summary

Poundland & Dealz is seeking a Transport Planner for our Distribution Centre in Harlow. You will collaborate with Transport Operations, Supply Chain and Warehouse teams to keep deliveries on time and cost-efficient.

In a fast-paced setting, you’ll monitor plans, resolve issues, and support seasonal peaks and new store openings. CPC qualification and experience with Paragon/Webfleet are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Experience in transport planning or logistics with delivery schedules.
• CPC qualification and knowledge of driver hours legislation are advantageous.
• Familiarity with transport management systems and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Plan daily transport and trunking schedules and optimize routes.
• Monitor performance, manage disruptions and variances.
• Support seasonal peaks and store openings with scheduling changes.
• Produce operational reports and use data to improve efficiency.
