Job summary

Matthew Clark is recruiting a Load Planner on a full-time, permanent basis to keep the depot running like clockwork and coordinate deliveries to hundreds of customers across the region.

You will assign work to drivers and mates, ensure SOPs are followed, and use Paragon for daily transport planning. The role requires experience in distribution, stock control and regulatory compliance, with opportunities for progression within a leading UK drinks wholesaler.

Qualifications

• Experience in Distribution, ideally in a Transport Office.
• Knowledge of stock control and key warehouse systems.
• Familiarity with EU Drivers\' Hours and Optrak or similar routing software.

Responsibilities

• Assign work to drivers and mates to maximise vehicle and manpower utilisation.
• Ensure SOPs are followed and training is provided.
• Plan daily transport using Paragon to deploy the right fleet and optimise routes.
• Induct drivers and mates and maintain training records.
