Job summary

Capita is seeking a Collective Training Needs Analyst in a hybrid role based in Warminster. You will analyse training and operational data, develop dashboards, and translate complex requirements into actionable insights to support the Army’s readiness.

The position requires UK security clearance eligibility and a balance of independent and collaborative work. Salary up to £60,000 with flexible benefits and opportunities to lead on reporting improvements across the ACTS framework.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in business analysis and developing practical solutions.
• Knowledge of the Defence Systems Approach to Training (DSAT) or similar training design frameworks.
• Experience applying JSP 822, ADDIE, or equivalent training methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, able to turn complex information into clear outputs.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and training management systems such as DTMS or JTIMS.
• Excellent communication, able to influence stakeholders.
• Confident presenting to technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Able to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Analyse training, safety and operational data to identify trends, risks and opportunities.
• Collect, validate and maintain data from multiple sources for reliable reporting.
• Develop dashboards, reports and visualisations to support senior decision‑making.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through automation and standardisation.
• Translate business needs into meaningful analytical outputs with stakeholders.
• Provide guidance on analytics tools and data‑driven decision making.
• Mentor colleagues and promote high standards of analytical quality.
• Present findings clearly through reports, presentations and briefings.
