Job summary

1st Executive Ltd in Belfast is seeking an experienced Technology Procurement professional to join a global Procurement function on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

You will shape and deliver the organisation's Technology procurement strategy across Software, SaaS, Cloud, Infrastructure and IT services, working with senior stakeholders to drive cost optimisation and supplier performance.

Qualifications

• Strong Technology category expertise across Software, SaaS, Cloud, Infrastructure, Telecommunications, Managed Services and IT Professional Services.
• Proven track record leading complex end-to-end sourcing and procurement programmes.
• Strong commercial negotiation skills with high-value technology contracts.
• Evidence of delivering measurable cost optimisation, commercial value, risk reduction and service improvements.
• Experience developing and executing category strategies aligned with wider business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Lead portfolio of strategic Technology procurement activity.
• Develop multi-year Technology Category Strategy and sourcing plans.
• Manage end-to-end strategic sourcing projects from definition to contract award.
• Negotiate complex commercial deals with major technology suppliers.
• Partner with Technology, Finance and business stakeholders to identify commercial optimisation opportunities.
• Provide market intelligence and supplier insights to senior stakeholders.
• Support supplier governance and third-party risk management across the lifecycle.
• Develop procurement metrics and reporting to support decision-making.
