Job summary

YTL UK is seeking a Talent & Development Manager to shape talent identification, succession and performance conversations across the group. You will guide senior leaders on where talent exists, risks emerge and actions drive impact.

You will build inclusive pipelines, translate decisions into development opportunities and strengthen the performance framework while collaborating across businesses to connect talent with growth and wellbeing priorities.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in talent management, succession planning and performance practice within a complex organisation.
• Ability to distinguish performance, potential and readiness and design fair, inclusive approaches.
• Strong stakeholder relationships at senior levels and proven facilitation of key talent discussions.

Responsibilities

• Establish evidence-based talent identification, with clear distinctions between performance, potential, readiness and critical capabilities.
• Facilitate Group talent reviews and calibration discussions with open dialogue and shared ownership of actions.
• Build inclusive succession pipelines for leadership, specialists and business-critical roles.
• Translate talent decisions into development opportunities via coaching, mentoring, sponsorship and mobility.
• Strengthen the Group Performance Framework so managers set expectations and give constructive feedback.
• Create practical career pathways and internal mobility frameworks linking roles, skills and progression.
• Analyze talent insights to understand pipeline health, readiness, movement and retention.
• Collaborate across organisational boundaries to connect talent, performance and wellbeing with priorities.
